Livestock pricing guide

Goats

Prices fluctuate with market pricing and other factors including seasons and current ranch volume. Use these prices as a guide, but they may be more or less depending upon certain factors. The volume of the purchase, the distance of delivery and other factors may influence pricing.

Kid

M or F 185

Kids are sold after weaning which usually occurs within 90 days.   A kid would include a Billy between the ages of 3 and 12 months.

Yearlings

M 180 | F 200

Yearlings are goats of the age 1-2 years old.   Pricing is marginally impacted by breed and size development.

Billy - Mature

300 to 450

Billy goats between 2 and 5 years old.  Considered breeding age and developed.  Breeds and size development may impact pricing.

Nanny - Mature

220 to 290

Nanny goats between 2 and 5 years old.  Considered breeding age and developed.  Breeds and size development may impact pricing.


Sheep

Lambs

M or F 165

Lambs are sold after weaning which usually occurs within 90 days.   A lamb would include a Ram or Ewe between the ages of 3 and 12 months.

Yearlings are sheep of the age 1-2 years old.   Pricing is marginally impacted by breed and size development.

Rams - Mature

295 to 350

Ram Sheep between 2 and 5 years old.  Considered breeding age and developed.  Breeds and size development may impact pricing.

Ewes - Mature

220 to 290

Ewe sheep between 2 and 5 years old.  Considered breeding age and developed.  Breeds and size development may impact pricing.
