Our Livestock

After years of building a distinct, healthy, and consistent herd of sheep and goats, we have reached the number where some can be sold to other livestock owners as startup or enhancing additions.

Our formula for maintaining health and balance in our herd has proven successful in developing a herd with the type of characteristics that are especially adapted to the Central Texas and Hill Country area specifically.

We utilize an aggressive pasture rotation and raise with specific mineral to maintain the health and quality of our herd with minimal to no introduction of anti-biotics or parasitic medications.

With nannies and ewes, we will provide a de-wormer at minimal amounts just 1 month prior to their anticipated kidding/lambing.  This is done to provide her the maximum amount of strength to focus on her job.  Otherwise, through culling and an aggressive diet control program we consider our herd as parasite resistant as possible to foster.
